Expand the operation!

Heather Myers, Realtor

First, we hired our daughter Heather Myers after she completed her real estate studies and obtained her Alabama real estate license. Heather moved to Cedar Bluff from Dallas, Georgia and she is holding her own in real estate sales and listings. I am proud to report that Heather is taking a liking to Alabama and has already made Lake Weiss her new home.

As many of your already know, in 2016 we purchased the old Fibber’s Restaurant in Cedar Bluff and moved in after setting the office up for operation.  As a result, we were left with our old office next to the "County Store" in Cedar Bluff and needed to figure out the best use for the property. After thinking about selling or renting the building we decided that the best use of the property was the use that it was currently set-up for which was, of course, a Real Estate office! The questions? 1) did we need to open a branch office and 2) who would we get to work there?  With the business growing, we certainly had the need, but who?

September 20, 2017.  Jill is a 1991 graduate of Jacksonville State University and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in both Accounting and Marketing. Since becoming a Realtor in 2000, Jill has obtained the  professional designations of RSPS (Resort Second Home Property Specialists) and RENE (Real Estate Negotiating Expert).  Jill's 17 years of practicing real estate has allowed her to join the Multi-million Dollar Sales Club as a Life Member. Tim Marton, Realtor

Tim Marton (local Realtor) has spoke with us earlier about joining our team, but the timing wasn’t quite right. When the time was right we called Tim and told him that the office was ready to go on-line and that he was welcome aboard. Tim set-up shop in April 2017 and has already started to help us grow the business. Tim is a not only a real estate veteran of 17 years, but also a U.S. Navy Veteran. Last month Debbie Summerville joined the team.  Starting her real estate career in 1980, Debbie has accrued 37 years of real estate experience and will be working out of our branch office as an Associate Broker. This Blog was set-up in order to help me communicate with all of the property owners that have listed their real estate for sale with Lake Weiss Alabama Real Estate Services since we first opened our doors in 2011.  I welcome your questions about the real estate market in Cherokee County and Lake Weiss. While my main focus is selling real estate, I also understanding the importance of communicating with my clients in the most time efficient means as possible.
